HIV Vaccine Awareness Day

On HIV Vaccine Awareness Day, a lunch symposium will be held at the Harlem State Office Building from 11:30 to 2:00 PM at 163 West 125th Street, New York, NY, jointly hosted by the AIDS Vaccine Advocacy Coalition (AVAC), Body Positive, the Foundation for Research on Sexually Transmitted Disease (FROST'D), Gay Men of African Descent (GMAD), and Project Achieve/New York City HIV Vaccine Trials Unit (NYC HVTU). The event will feature presentations about HIV vaccine research from the co-hosts. Project Achieve will also host a breakfast to honor female trial participants and a dinner later that evening for male trial participants. Representatives from AVAC, Body Positive, FROST'D, and GMAD will also be in attendance. Additionally, Body Positive will launch its revamped web site on HIV Vaccine Awareness Day.
