The trials test whether the study vaccines are well tolerated, and whether they cause an immune response.
Volunteers in HIV vaccine trials cannot become infected with HIV or get AIDS from the vaccines. The vaccines are not produced from live virus or from HIV-infected human cells. Who can participate in the trials in New York City?
HIV negative men and women who are generally healthy and between the ages of 18 and 45 years. Please call us to see if you meet other eligibility criteria.
