The goal of Project ACHIEVE is to find ways to prevent HIV infection and other sexually transmitted diseases among men who have sex with men and heterosexual women in New York City. One way to get the word out is to offer this evening of dancing, singing, and food, featuring people from the affected communities performing UNITED to find an effective HIV vaccine.

A Great Show from Tops to Bottoms
at Therapy Bar
348 West 52nd St

Glammy-award-winning entertainer and Queen of Vaccine, Peppermint, headlines this year’s seventh annual “Vaccine-o-licious” to promote HIV Vaccine Awareness Day. The event features performers who have won 1st place or runner up over the past two months of Therapy’s weekly Cattle Call contest. The performers will compete at the May 18th finale for a $1000 grand prize! Expect crowd-roaring performances from Peppermint, Stella D’oro (the Queen Mum of Vaccine) and all the talented contestants. It caps off a week of festivities and outreach by the nightlife community in support of Project ACHIEVE and Columbia University.

The night will be filled with first class entertainment, valuable information about HIV prevention research and fabulous raffle prizes including a Steel gym membership, restaurant gift certificates and more.

The one-night-only show is presented by Project ACHIEVE, the New York Blood Center’s vaccine trial effort and Columbia University Medical Center. The evening is also sponsored by AVAC Global Advocacy for HIV Prevention and Gay Men of African Descent (GMAD).
